Unmasking the scars of fears
Have you noticed that whenever you're afraid of something you refrain from it or avoid it totally; leaving some trying to conceal or reason out why you should be exempted.
The scary thing for most of us is our scars as they trigger so much. I would rather be flawless and merry yet appearance isn't the only make up of a being; emotions and thoughts are involved too. If we keep sweeping everything under the rug we might end up defeated; time to face our fears.
The devil you know is better than the one you don't. Why settle for a devil anyway? Those scars on your hand are just markers of your past failure not present or a next chapter. Wearing armless tops make the memories vivid and it sometimes seems as if history is recurring, bitter truth, but; why not change the narrative. Yes, you failed, it cannot be undone but should you wear the face of misery. Why not take that as a stepping stone to greatness, where your failure was a mistake needing alteration. Refresh, rewind, redo and perhaps this time you might do it right. We cannot ignore the fact that you did it wrong but we're pleased with the aftermath. A resilient mindset.
Fear always looks for something to cling on, cracks or void in you. Your insecurity, poor mindset, inferior complex... the list goes on is what it preys on. Fear on its own has no stronghold. It's a subject of something, therefore identifying and exposing it, leaves one liberatedfrom such a bondage/calamity.
Take time to introspect self, face your fears with pride and you'll conquer. Fear is a subject of the enemy and the Book of Wisdom says, "Perfect Love (Trinity) casts out fear." Don't be a slave to fear but a victory in Christ. Take the scars left by fear as learning curves and experience that will someday mold the lives of others. See positivity around you. Shame fear by overcoming it, my warrior.
Cheers to the non-fearful generation!
