Winning you
We all aspire to excel in everything we do. Born with a talent, filled with skills and destined for greatness; thus what you are. A winner who does no competition with anyone other than themselves and building an awesome character within. As you manage to accomplish something, its a cause for a celebration and you will be joyous and excited.
Winning ignites joy. Joy is an element of happiness and contentment that comes from within. It's often accomplished by peace of mind. However, it can be tough to attain. Here are some simple life hacks to keep happy or being the winning you.
๐Winning right
Winning the right competition (within yourself) and odds that fight against you is a way to go. Never compare yourself to anyone or compete with someone. Aim to bring out the best in you in all you do. Winners have the mindset of not taking things to serious, be at ease and enjoy the competition. As you win, don't make others feel bad for failing to achieve certain things. It's ok to celebrate but belittling others is a no, no, no. Remember life is a journey and no one is guaranteed to be at the top.
๐ Staying in your lane
Yes, mind your business. How fast/slow others race should not affect you, your aim is to reach the finish line. What should affect you is how to tackle the hurdles ahead of you. Remember, your lane got enough room to showcase your talent; no need to go to your neighbouring track. Always focus on winning; thus making it to the finishing point.
๐Being a hero
Since eyes got no limits; assuming you were spying on others during the race; then you witness they are falling or being in need of something. Go on, be a brother's keeper and help. Hero's are individuals willing to risk their lives only to save souls. Those beings matter too, pick them up and bring them back to their feet then continue your race. Zero competitive spirit is equivalent to heroine spirit. Note: you are in two separate tracks/lanes, with different hurdles and different speed; therefore, move at your own pace and don't drain yourself.
๐Cheering crowds
Spectators are always there to either push you forward or drain your energy. Not everyone came with the expectations of seeing you making it. Note; when you win, you are a step ahead and that's a breakthrough. Success intimidates your opponents, but since you are in no competition, you are bound to enjoy. Some may cheer others only to have you demoralised and lose hope. Don't give up, you are an overcomer.
๐Winning spirit
You know yourself better, run the way you feel comfortable. Jog, sprint, walk... do as please so long you move. Have your mindset set on making it to the finish line not the number of individuals you passed in the race.
๐Contentment
Be satisfied with what you have and where you are. The shoes you are wearing, your energy and your current position. Once you are not contended, you can be easily discouraged. Remember, all these hero/ines started from the bottom. Championship comes from perseverance. Note, patience precedes prosperity. The hurdles you face tell how strong you are. Enjoy all moments in the track.
Keep on running your race!!!
Thank you๐
I'm a winner
Tick, tock, tick, tock,
The minute hand moved,
As we got ready for the gunshot
BOOM!!!
All I saw was smoke,
Coming out of the pistol,
And swoosh everyone taking off,
Truth be told, these guys
are professionals.
I tried my level best,
But, it was not good enough,
Dust from my fellow competitors
Filled the air like mist,
And I began sneezing but the race was still on.
Thirty minutes later,
I was lying on the ground, pounding;
A fellow athlete helped me back at my feet,
I managed to proceed the journey, walking,
And yes, I made it.
Was not the best,
Neither was I among the average,
But I proudly took the last position,
And made it in the book of athletes,
Those who quit are nowhere to be found.
Championship means being among the best,
While winning is simply making it,
Don't quit,
Continue your race,
Be the winning you.
