The Untold Stories: The Beauty in Scars
Bruises, blisters, wounds… create beautiful scars. The beauty lies in the in untold stories behind of their occurrence and lessons learnt from the experience. They are not always physical but result as an aftermath of pain. Our world has decided to have a makeover and conceal the amazing scars, having everyone live beyond the realities of the pain induced and act as if all is well. Truly, we can’t go on this way, there’s nothing wrong with getting hurt, reaching rock bottom or being wounded. The problem lies when we suppress the pain and fail to let it go.
Sometimes
we choose to stay in our utopian world, which ain’t bad because being
optimistic is phenomenal although sometimes the pain fuses to bitterness
without us realising it. My concern is living in a world with pyscho-path,
failing to heal but inflicting pain others. Being in denial always affects us negatively
especially when reality dawns, some are crushed beyond limit.
Guess we
should have a World Scars Day where people of all generations share their
stories in more like TedTalks honouring these uninvited skin features. This way
the world can help individuals not to fall for the same trap, recover and find
opportunities to live beyond the scars. Applying the ‘a problem shared is half
solved,’ principle can help us liberate souls from accumulating pain. Scars are
part of our identity because they shape our belief, character and way of life. Count
to think of it you can do something you love and still get hurt and the
memories are beautiful. Be it good or bad memories, scars sum up who we are and
they are our best teachers with evidence.
Thank you
