Everyone is entitled to human rights

Today, I was graced with an opportunity to learn about leadership frameworks. I came across trolley dilemma or utilitarianism which left me jaw dropped. As in, it is part of leadership; ain't this inhuman? Aren't leaders meant to protect us?

This is for my baby SkewedCrowns💕

This is where I'm coming from, a few months back I received a certificate in relation to mental well-being and respect for all individuals despite their mental state. A stressed, depressed, mental unstable or insane human is entitled to UNHR and is free to make choices of their own and not having others decide for them. Choices of what they want to do with their lives, services, privacy, community inclusion, ways in which they want to recover and many more. Therefore; applying utilitarianism seems like violation of human rights and not validating one's life. I may not be wrong to say it's a form of discrimination because you're choosing some individuals over someone.

If God can leave the 99 to search for the one, it shows love; but, we sacrifice the one to save the  the 99 and justify it as wisdom (carnal/human wisdom not divine wisdom). That one is someone's parent, change maker, relative, friend, colleague... If we are to eliminate the soul aren't we infusing pain to those close to the victim. For example, a hospital has 3 patients needing heart, lung and kidney transplant and coincidentally someone of "no importance" happen to be a match. This utilitarianism will sacrifice the one for the three as it is said they're of more value or better purpose than that one. Aferall, three is better than one, yeah? I personally feel this individual has the right to choice and why can't one of the patients die to save the others if they're a match? Fairness and respect is what we need.

Another scenario, a bus bumping into an individual to avoid crashing and killing many passengers. What if the bus takes the alternative route and zero fatal statistics will be recorded? Who placed us judges over others? We're only limited to knowing the now and not the future. In as much as we cannot predict the future, let's drop this evil/malice act. Everyone has the right to live and choice & ought to be respected despite their social status.

Let love reign.

Thank you😊
