Loss but still strong...
The loss of a loved one can be very terrible or devastating. "The more we are together, together, together, the more we are together; the happier we are..." an innocent childhood song that warned us not of death. This was before we knew what it was or its existence. Death; world's nightmare...
My sincere condolences to all those who lost their loved ones. Do take heart and continue finding that inner strength to live. ~ Nnessy💕
All situations do grow us. In as much as losing your ones can be hurting; a lesson can be learnt from it too. You'll never know the strength you possess until you use it, or it's exerted out by force. After one leaves you, life goes on & you got to put your life together. So not easy but worthwhile.
What inspired this article was the loss of my friend's mom. After realising this, I didn't know what & what not to say. Were my words worth comforting or would remind him of the loss? Was I truly in his shoes or speaking a distance away? What I realised is that we go into life's phases at different times; but don't despise others for how they react because we are different. My point is never to compare yourself with others and don't hate people for not going an extra mile for you.
What one needs is the strength carry on. Courage pushes you off this rough phase. Don't rely on people too much for support; you might hurt more. Focus on moving on. If you need talking; find someone to confide in/a counsellor or even use this platform. Express yourself. Always bear in mind; tears are not a sign of weakness but strength signifying a healing process.
You are stronger than you believe. Keep exerting that strength my king/queen. Majestically adorn yourself. Love you.
