I am grass

🌾I am grass🌾

Different shades of green,

Lime, forest & sea green,

Yet there is a time,

All shades fade away,

And am left with a brownie colour,

Some feed from me,

Others burn me,

Am cut too,

Others go to an extend of uprooting me,

People tend to forget

I once fed their livestock & sustained them,

Both economically & agriculturally,

Yet, some smash me with the soles of their feet,

But I choose not to second to the situation,

I lay low, knowing.

Spring is coming,

Where I will sprout

And shine once more,

I view everything from my perspective

And yeah, I win

Always.
