Truly, knowledge is power

 The Book of Wisdom speaks of people perishing because of lack of knowledge and the world says knowledge is power, allow me  to agree with the two. Truly, it is a powerful asset one ought to have.

From my My Pen Journey series, I clearly stated how much I hated reading and words in particular except for my darling Shakespearean content. I was direct on my love for Math and numbers.  Truth be told, I have shun myself from issues I despite and avoided research on what I hated/had fear of failure to. After years of school, I decided to revive my coding skills which was fun and hectic but overally an adventure I would embark on countless times. Fast forward, I pushed for embedded electronics, well, an amazing journey too. Health and nutrition, my passion where as some issues gives me that urgh reaction (storyf or another day). You cannot run forever, 

To cut the long tale short, there has been a void in me seeking solace yet it remined an unheard of voice for I couldn't pin point what it truly was. So I thought of doing the unimaginable/unthinkable, challenging myself to face my fears and do what I wouldn't normally do. I made a small milestone and in the process, I had to make some research and lo and behold, I found the missing note to my rhythm. I feel powerful with the little knowledge I gained and I'm no longer scared of working down the drain to acquire more. The only question I kept asking myself is, why did I shy away from something I love? 

I may have reached my rock-bottom countless times due to my ignorance. With the little knowledge I've gained, I feel powerful enough to create countless opportunities for myself and others and how I wish I knew what I know now then, maybe I would have transformed the world. It's never too late to dig a well when the house is already on fire, start building/acquiring knowledge now. It is a powerful tool that grants victory when taken to any battlefield.

Don't live a life of regrets, shape your future. Boast your potential through knowledge.  Read, research, enquire, grow... The beauty in knowledge is it cannot be undone or lost. You will feel somewhat ready to tackle any mountain and your confidence level escalates. Choose to evolve, gain knowledge... Learn, unlearn & relearn.

Patience

 Patience, a name I would have given myself, maybe when called, I will reminded to exercise it, hahaha, lol. Well, I love Nnessy too, nice choice mommy and daddy.  Patience, the hardest thing to execute since no one is willing to wait. I plant today, I want harvest tomorrow; I put food in a cooker, the next minute I want to plate it up; I invest money, the next nano-second I wish to book a vacation or buy commodities with my savings/investment... the list goes on. Such is our ordeal, no wonder people indulge in crime and disgusting acts only to accelerate what they want.  No one has time to wait for anything. We're this microwave generation expecting things to occur in a nanosecond. It's a pity we've eliminated the word patience from our dictionary and vocabulary. Staying true to self 2

  True colours This article was inspired by a post made by one asking what true colurs really are. I found it funny to be honest because the post read, 'If you do bad people say you've shown your true colours but when you do good, nothing is said. Is true colours only associated with the bad?' First thing that came to my mind is, ain't doing good part of someone's true colours? Hilarious, right. From my own understanding, true colours is simply who you are either good or bad. Character is shaped from your true colours. One thing for sure, character can never be masked, you can pretend for some time but not forever. So, simply be yourself. I understand that sometimes in a verge of wanting to fit in, you mask your personality so as to be accommodated.
