 Secrets to a happy marriage 

After the wedding bliss of sharing the I do moment and of course not I do not LOL. What of focusing on the I do not which will be left unpacked. Marriage still remains a mystery one has to venture into and explore, all the same grasp valuable lessons. I am fortunate enough to have had a one on one session on marriage and keys to unlocking its blessings, which I'm here to share with the world. 

The book of wisdom says, "He who finds a good wife findeth a good thing and obtains favour from God." Mind you, the one who finds is man and he who favours is God. In order to acquire the fullness of God's favour you ought to honour your spouse. Husband your wife and wife your husband. That way you can enjoy the marriage bliss. I was watching an instagram video the other day and something caught my attention as it was said you have to communicate with your spouse the energy level, zeal or frustration you have so that he/she may cover you. If you got 20, your spouse will provide the 80 to complete you. I found the complementary part so sweet and once you understand your partner's mood you can handle issues better and avoid unnecessary conflicts too.

Success in marriage is obtained when the two are one. Remember, one can chase a thousand; two, ten thousand. Be insoluble. If either of the two parties is grieved or is groaning it affects the smooth flow of marital blessings. Allow me shade more light on this, when your spouse is convicted of something by outsiders, protect your home at all costs. Use your bedroom as your courtroom, interrogate, question, enquire and discuss way forward. Be sure not to sweep any matters under the rug but untackle all. Use the opportunity to get answers and clarity. Seek truth. The only way to save marriage is through honesty.


Weak people revenge,strong people forgive, but intelligent people ignore that is why always the rich get richer and richer. Note: this principle only applies to married fellows.

Communication is key no matter what. Normalize checking up your spouse from time to time. Show concern if need be. Compliment your partner. Build the future you want together. Respect one another. Key thing, speak one language. Be inseparable.

Patience

 Patience, a name I would have given myself, maybe when called, I will reminded to exercise it, hahaha, lol. Well, I love Nnessy too, nice choice mommy and daddy.  Patience, the hardest thing to execute since no one is willing to wait. I plant today, I want harvest tomorrow; I put food in a cooker, the next minute I want to plate it up; I invest money, the next nano-second I wish to book a vacation or buy commodities with my savings/investment... the list goes on. Such is our ordeal, no wonder people indulge in crime and disgusting acts only to accelerate what they want.  No one has time to wait for anything. Staying true to self 2

  True colours This article was inspired by a post made by one asking what true colurs really are. I found it funny to be honest because the post read, 'If you do bad people say you've shown your true colours but when you do good, nothing is said. Is true colours only associated with the bad?' First thing that came to my mind is, ain't doing good part of someone's true colours? Hilarious, right. From my own understanding, true colours is simply who you are either good or bad. Character is shaped from your true colours. One thing for sure, character can never be masked, you can pretend for some time but not forever. So, simply be yourself. I understand that sometimes in a verge of wanting to fit in, you mask your personality so as to be accommodated.
